Welcome to "Dropped And Chopped Tunes" Publishing (BMI), the official publishing department of Double Barrel Records. We are here for artists who have not yet affiliated themselves with a publisher or performer's organization.

It is highly important to protect your music, and even more important to be able to collect royalties due to you from licensed use of your music. Artists on the Double Barrel label have the option of using their own publishing, or staying "in house" with Dropped And Chopped Tunes. Also, artists not on the label can still be affiliated with the publishing company.

Here is what we can do for you:

Register your works with BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.)

Copyright your work through the Library of Congress, Washington D.C.

Make sure you receive all royalties due to you quarterly, as recorded by BMI.

Submit your CD for distribution consideration (physical and internet download)

Percentages and Fees:

Registering songs through BMI-- $5 per song.

Artist receives 90% of royalties, while Dropped And Chopped Tunes owns 10% of each song.

$45 fee to copyright works

$10/ month fee to update and maintain BASIC web sites.
