YTAP is seeking applications of interest from community charities and organisations to be selected as the recipient of the proceeds raised from its charity ball event due to be held in October this year.

As a result of the ball, Pink Spirits received $12,000 which was used to support the group's Hair to Help wig library initiative at the Whyalla hospital.

"The YTAP committee welcome the opportunity to be able to provide similar support to other local causes," Miss Bruce said.
Local organisations, groups or charities interested in applying are requested to submit an application outlining what the organisation's role is, how it benefits the Whyalla community and what the received funds would go towards.
Miss Bruce said as a not for profit community organisation itself, YTAP's main objective was to provide social and networking opportunities for the young working population but the charity ball presented the chance to do both.

Local organisations, groups or charities needing a helping hand with funding are being encouraged to apply to be Young Tradespeople and Professionals Whyalla's annual charity ball recipient.
