Monday, Raymond and Marianne Ortega, were in their bedroom watching "Dancing With the Stars," when Marianne saw a notice pop up on her cell phone that someone had sent her a message on Facebook.

Multiple art shows were held in Ortega's memory in his hometown of Fayetteville, prompting a newspaper article on the mystery. His mother is also working to have his art displayed in other venues in the eastern part of the state. She routinely calls police here, and asks reporters if they have heard anything new about her son's case.
